Yi Ding Homepage

Yi Ding was born in Southern China. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education in Special Education from Beijing Normal University. She went to University of Minnesota Medical School for her internship in Pediatric Psychology and Pediatric Neuropsychology rotations. She received her Ph.D. in School Psychology from The University of Iowa in 2008. She is a Licensed School Psychologist (LSP). She has experience practicing in different school settings, department clinics, and hospital settings. Her research areas include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities (LD), autism spectrum disorders (ASD), the use of functional behavioral analysis (FBA) in children with genetic syndromes and developmental disabilities, and international school psychology and special education issues. Dr. Ding has presented at the state and national levels. She also travels frequently to present at international conferences. She has published in various journals, such as School Psychology International and Journal of International Association of Special Education. She has been collaborating with her Chinese colleagues and has published in Chinese and Taiwanese peer-reviewed journals.
